First up we have Ray Martin (and, of course, his orchestra) doing their own unique take on The News At Ten.
It starts just like it should... then... something strange happens...
It is taken from their album 'Favourite TV Themes' which was released in 1973 on Decca, and which I then bought from my local newsagent for 50p many years later.
Other exciting ones on the album include Nationwide, Horse Of The Year, Top Of The Form and General Hospital.
But the big question this week is :
The News At Ten... Am I Brilliant ?

Oh, a new blog. How exciting! Hello there.
Well, about 15 seconds of that was familiar! Imagine if this had been the actual News At Ten theme though - poor old Sandy Gall & Alistair Burnet would have nodded off by the time the bongs kicked in!
